Abstract
A bolus made of marshmallow impregnated with barium sulfate is described and suggested as the "ideal" bolus for fluoroscopic evaluation of esophageal disease. Its elasticity, plasticity, shape, size, ease of swallowing and radiopacity contribute to the information which may be derived from fluoroscopic study of the esophagus. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
