Abstract
The distribution of protons from the photo-disintegration of the deuteron was measured in detail as a function of the angle at an energy of 0.48 Mev above the threshold. The observed angular distribution agreed with the prediction of the theory. Measurements of the variation of the angular distribution with energy agreed qualitatively with the theory but seemed to give too high a value for the ratio of photomagnetic to photoelectric disintegration cross sections. Keywords
