Abstract
Summarizes the principal characteristics of Visean (Carboniferous) floras of Morocco, with particular reference to the results of a systematic study of plant assemblages from four specific localities. The floras are characterized by an abundance of lepidophytes, the constant presence of Asterocalamites, and the almost complete absence of ferns. Comparison with Visean floras of other regions shows that they are homogeneous throughout the world. Keywords
