C-Type Virus Particles in a Reptilian Tumor2

Abstract
Examination of a corn snake rhabdomyosarcoma by thin-section electron microscopy revealed particles morphologically resembling C-type viruses of avian and mammalian origin. The observation extended the range of animals among which C-type particles are directly associated with tumor tissues to include a poikilothermic vertebrate for the first time.
