WEGENERS GRANULOMATOSIS

Abstract
An instance of Wegener''s granulo-matosis of the lungs, also involving the kidney, is reported. The patient survived 16 months. Two types of renal involvement were observed. One had the appearance suggestive of Kimmelstiel- Wilson nodular glomerulosclerosis. The second was identical to the pulmonary necrotic lesion and suggested an infectious etiology. This is compared with the regional enteritis of Crohn''s disease.
