Abstract

The new difunctional tin reagents Buⁿ ₃Sn–Ar–SnBuⁿ ₃[Ar =p-(C₆H₄)₂O, p-C₆H₄(CC)₂] react with organic dihalides in the presence of palladium catalysts to give novel heat-resistant aromatic polymers.
