Abstract
The universality relation is shown to agree with experiment also at Serpukhov energies up to 50 GeV, even though other regularities found at lower energies do not persist and a simple pole interpretation of the data would require different intercepts for the and trajectories. Applications of the universality relation to inclusive reactions are suggested.
