Abstract
Clinical patients (41) were studied on the 1st day of the 1st course of the CMF-[cyclophosphamide, methotrexate, 5-fluorouracil]-regimen administered by a fixed dosage scheme depending solely on body surface area of the patient. Pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated for each drug: the data were analyzed in conformity with the usual pharmacokinetic models. A large pharmacokinetic variability was indicated, especially for cyclophosphamide (C). The large variability in plasma concentrations of C presumably is substantially attributable to the drug formula used. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
