Abstract
We investigated the occupation histories of 178 patients with idiopathic trigger finger. When compared with the 1991 Census data, the distribution of their occupations was not significantly different from the local general population. It is concluded that the vast majority of trigger fingers develop for reasons other than occupation. Keywords
