A psychophysical method employing a modification of the Müller-Urban weights.

Abstract
Certain innovations from standard methods of determining threshold values for taste are described. Standard procedure for calculation of the threshold is followed except that calculations are based upon transformed percentages, and modified Muller-Urban weights are used instead of the original weights. This provides a measure of the standard error as well as the threshold, which makes it possible to establish fiducial limits for the threshold.
