Abstract
We have performed multidomain FMR analyses applicable to thin (111) ‐plane disks including both cubic, K1, and uniaxial, Ku, magnetocrystalline anisotropy and with the applied field H normal to as well as in the plane of the platelets. The solutions apply to both stripe and bubble arrays. The interplay of K1 and Ku makes nontrivial the determination of the static orientation conditions and the dynamic resonance relations. In some cases the determination of the magnetization orientation angles is sufficiently laborious to make computer solutions expedient. However the resonance relations still can be expressed concisely in the Smit and Beljers manner. In particular, we have computed the multidomain FMR expressions for H along [1̄10] and [111] respectively and, for fully magnetized specimens, the FMR expressions and magnetization tilts obtaining for H at various orientations within the (111) ‐plane. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
