Abstract
Details relating to the size and shape of conidia of Trichophyton erinacei (Smith & Marples) Padhye & Carmichael, are given. Propagules, similar to those found in T. proliferans English & Stockdale, are also formed in cultures of T. erinacei. A comparison of various features of T. erinacei and T. proliferans reveals a close similarity between them and it is suggested that at present T. proliferans should be regarded as a synonym of T. erinacei. Keywords
