Bilateral Patent Ductus Arteriosus: Case Report

Abstract
An example of bilateral patent ductus arteriosus in a patient who died at 6 days of age with multiple other anomalies has been reported. The embryologic background of this extremely rare lesion has been discussed with particular emphasis on the 6th embryonic aortic arches whose total persistence results in bilateral ductus arteriosus.
