Abstract
Thirty-one additional species of Coleoptera are recorded from the Chatham Is for the first time, a previously discounted species is reinstated and an overlooked record is noted. A name unnecessarily replaced as a junior secondary homonym is reinstated. A list of species collected from the Forty Fours by Prof. G.A. Knox in 19S4 is included. The implications for Chatham Is biogeography of tentative new findings on the age of the Chatham Is Archipelago are briefly discussed.
