Dominant Mutations of the Japanese Morning Glory

Abstract
Dominant mutations are rarely found in Japanese morning glory, Pharbitis nil, but this article describes 2. One occurred vegeta-tively on the upper part of the main stem of a vine and showed segregation for white margins. The other occurred seminally as an entire plant bearing white flowers. Progeny plants grown from selfed flowers indicate that white is a simple Mendelian dominant.
