Abstract
This paper describes the use of a digital computer in deriving an empirical equation of state for steam, based on experimental data on its pressure-volume-temperature properties. A table of specific volume at round values of pressure and temperature, derived from this equation, is given. This table is preliminary and further work is going on to extend and improve it.Keywords
