Abstract
From the application of the ladder operators technique of the Schrodinger-Infeld-Hull factorization method, simple and general recurrence formulae for the vibration-rotation matrix elements of diatomic molecules are derived. Such relations allow the determination of the vibration-rotation intensities for any Omega vJ to Omega 'v'J' transition. Keywords
