Abstract
Rhodococcus butanica ATCC 21197 preferentially hydrolyzed pro-S cyano group of 3-substituted glutaronitriles with an aromatic ring. A product with high e.e. (>99%) was obtained from 3-benzoyloxy derivative. Keywords
