Benign Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid

Abstract
In a case of benign mucous membrane pemphigoid with widespread skin lesions, direct and indirect immunofluorescent studies of the skin and sera of the patient demonstrated tissue-fixed and circulating antibodies. The titer of the latter appeared to be correlated with the activity of the disease. These findings lend further support to the view that benign mucous membrane pemphigoid is related to bullous pemphigoid.
