Abstract
The prompt- and delayed-neutron multiplicities for photofission of the eight isotopes, 232Th, 233U, 234U, 235U, 236U, 238U, 237Np, and 239Pu, have been measured using bremsstrahlung with end-point energies ranging from 8 to 13 MeV. The measured multiplicities are compared with those from the same compound nucleus formed in neutron-induced fission where such data exist.Keywords
