Abstract
The amount of coronary atherosclerosis in each decade from 30 to 89 years of age, in the male, is evaluated. A large number of hearts were examined in great detail to increase accuracy. The results reveal that the degree of coronary atherosclerosis is not primarily related to age as is commonly assumed. The effect of cardiac hypertrophy on coronary atherosclerosis is also discussed. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
