Abstract
A luminescent chamber system consisting of a four-inch sodium iodide crystal and four image tubes has been studied using plons of 2 Bev/c momentum. Gating times of 3 to 10 microseconds have been used in particle fluxes of up to 104 per pulse through the scintillator. The potentialities and problems of such a system are discussed and illustrated with stereoscopic photographs of pion interactions. Keywords
