The Agar-Paraffin Embedding Technique Applied to Small Diagnostic Biopsies

Abstract
The steady development of fibroscopes allows clinicians to examine large areas of the interior of hollow organs of the respiratory, digestive, and urinary tracts. During such examinations as many as 12-15 tissue specimens, each less than 0.2 cm in any dimension, may be excised from different sites and submitted for histological examination.
