Abstract
Tetanus is still too frequently encountered in France. The majority of cases nowadays occur in elderly persons. A number of complications were seen in 100 hospitalized patients with tetanus. The mortality rate was 21%. Cardiovascular complications and secondary infections were the main causes of death.Keywords
