Abstract
AIDS: Facts and Issues is intended as an essential resource for every person, group, or organization involved with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). This ambitious goal is not fulfilled. It fails to meet its promise in presenting the facts, largely because the early chapters were written 18 months ago or more. The numerous errors in fact and in spelling are distracting and should have been avoidable with careful editing.
