Abstract
A new National Bureau of Standards pH standard, intended to facilitate measurements of the pH of blood and other physiologic media in the range 7-8, is announced. The new buffer solution is composed of KH2PO4 (0.008695 molal) and Na2HPO4 (0.03043 molal). The standard pH values (pH8) of this solution from 0 to 50° are listed. Keywords
