Abstract
The color thresholds have been determined for single spikes isolated by the micro-electrode technique before and during polarization of the retina and found to be selectively altered in various regions of the spectrum by these means. By dividing the normal value for each wave-length with the one obtained during polarization a measure of this change is obtained. It is called the''polarization factor.'' The fundamental result is that these polarization factors, plotted in the spectrum, reproduce the color modulators of the same eye. Keywords
