Abstract
The incidence of TPB[tryptose phosphate broth]-reactors was independent of genetic strain but dependent upon age. The stimulus for the precipitin reactive with TPB is unknown, and appears unrelated to any of the common avian viral pathogens. Tryptose phosphate broth should be omitted from cell-culture-medium formulations if the cell cultures are to be harvested as antigen for AGP [agar gel precipitin] tests. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
