Abstract
A mutant of P. aeruginosa PAO lacking arginine deiminase (EC 3.5.3.6) activity (arcA) was isolated by screening for a derivative of an arcB mutant (deficient in catabolic ornithine carbamoyltransferase; EC 2.1.3.3) that did not excrete citrulline under conditions of limited aeration. The arcA mutation was highly cotransducible with arcB.This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
