Abstract
Use of the calcium-ethylenediamine and sodium-liquid ammonia reduction systems for the ring opening of dihydropyran derivatives was studied. (Z)-Alkenyl alcohols and (E)-alkenyl alcohols were stereoselectively synthesized respectively. Keywords
