Abstract
The effects of moderate physical training have been observed during pre-train-mg, training and post-training periods in the same persons. The basal gaseous exchange declined slightly in 3 and was unchanged in 2 subjects during a period of training. In the persons in whom it was reduced a return to the pre-training rate was made in the post-training period. Training slightly retarded the pulse rate of the basal condition in most persons examined. There was no constant effect on arterial blood pressure nor on the minute-volume and frequency of breathing. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
