Abstract
A school project to investigate aggregations in flatworms is described. It was found by a series of simple experiments that the formation of aggregations in the flatworm, Polycelis nigra, was influenced by light intensity, temperature, and some form of chemical stimulus released by already aggregating flatworms. Such investigations could be adapted to suit many levels of school practical work. Keywords
