Abstract
Very quiet, steady-state plasmas in axial magnetic fields with density fluctuations less than 0.1% may be produced in a beam-plasm discharge. The dependence of the density and electron temperature on the discharge parameters are in accordance with the predictions of a one-dimensional plasma model. Keywords
