Abstract
• The cell surface characteristics of vitreous mononuclear cells were determined in ten eyes with chronic idiopathic uveitis. Most of the cells had surface immunoglobulin; some exhibited phagocytosis; few formed E rosettes. This result suggests that most of the cells found in the vitreous of eyes with chronic idiopathic uveitis are B cells and macrophages; few T cells are present. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
