Abstract
Strains of several genetically important Streptomyces spp. and 4 strains of Norcardia mediterranei were screened for nutritional properties by using 150 different organic compounds. The methodology for an extensive nutritional analysis of actinomycetes is described and the results are discussed on the basis of their taxonomic and ecological implications.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
