Abstract
A study was made of the frequency distribution of possible experimental results that can be obtained from a suspension using several dilutions. After repeating these studies on various suspensions, it was found that for this technique the accuracy of the data is, for all practical purposes, dependent only on the number of tubes used and not on the bacterial population. Tables and curves are included, showing how accuracy varies with number of tubes. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
