Extradural haemorrhage--a hazard of ventricular drainage

Abstract
Three cases of extradural haematoma during ventricular drainage are reported and the relevant literature has been reviewed. Aetiology, diagnosis, and management are discussed. Defective blood clotting is mentioned as a possible precipitating factor.Keywords
