Abstract
Synopsis A study of attentional deficit in the relatives of schizophrenics and in a matched control group is reported, in which the relatives are found to have poorer scores on a vigilance test and on a choice reaction time test. It is concluded that this deficit points to one of the primary symptoms of schizophrenia, and suggestions for further research are madeKeywords
