Abstract
The physical attractiveness of the victim of a crime and the victim's precautiousness were varied in a factorial design. The primary finding was an interaction effect on mock jurors' personal verdicts; the defendant was most likely to be convicted when the victim was both beautiful and blameless. Keywords
