Abstract
In patients with acute ischemic stroke treated with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA) within 3 hours of stroke onset, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) rt-PA Stroke Study Group reported a highly statistically significant therapeutic effect at 3 months,1 which was sustained at 1 year.2Keywords
