Abstract
The reactions for the diagnosis of pregnancy by the use of urine from patients who are receiving tranquilizing drugs of the phenothiazine group have given false positive results when performed in the North American frog Rana pipiens. Such false positive reactions are not obtained when the South American toad Bufo arenarum is used. Keywords
