Rapid Measurement of the Apparent Transference Number and Salt Diffusion Coefficient in Solid Polymer Electrolytes

Abstract
A method for estimating simultaneously the apparent cationic transference number and diffusion coefficient of a salt in a solid polymer electrode from a single transient potential step measurement is presented. The concentration dependence of these variables was measured for a lithium salt in Kynar‐based polymer electrolyte gel. ©1999 The Electrochemical Society
