Abstract
Based on 883 cases of recurrent paralysis of which it was possible to re-examine the 346, the relation between the position of the paretic vocal cord and the clinical findings are discussed (Table 1). As the most plausible explanation of the fact that, in a small percentage of these cases the position of the paretic vocal cord and the clinical findings do not agree, partial denervation is mentioned.Keywords
