Abstract
2-Methoxyalkyl glycerol ethers isolated from Greenland shark liver oil in a concentration of 0·5 per cent of the diet inhibited metastasis formation from the methylcholanthrene-induced sarcoma MCGI-SS in syngeneic CBA mice. This was shown for spontaneous metastases to the lymph nodes and in one experiment to the lungs and for intravenously induced metastases to the liver.
