Model ab initio study of intense laser photoionisation

Abstract
From 'ab initio' wavefunctions of a model atom exposed to a very intense light field the authors compute above-threshold photoelectron spectra. Using these they make an assessment of two Keldysh-type final-state dressing models of multiphoton ionisation, and give evidence for an intensity-dependent scaling law and channel closing in above-threshold ionisation (ATI).Keywords
