Abstract
Differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of electrons from atomic hydrogen have been measured at 9.4, 12, and 20eV. The data at 9.4 eV are shown to agree with a previous measurement and to agree with the prediction of the close-coupling approximation even at the smaller scattering angles of the present experiment. The data at 12 eV agree very well with the six-state close-coupling calculation. The data at 20 eV agree well with a three-state calculation except at the most forward angles. Keywords
