Abstract
This review essay provides an introduction to feminist serials, from the slightly off-beat to the academic and respectable. Making a case for including at least some titles in every kind of collection, the author begins with a description and assessment of feminist newspapers. Twenty other titles, arranged in subject categories from health to women's studies, are described, evaluated, and compared. Notes on appropriateness for type of library are made throughout, and the necessary selection guides to and directories of feminist periodicals are listed.Keywords
