Abstract
The taxonomic and nomenclatural histories of Sarcoxylon and Entonaema are discussed. Sarcoxylon is considered to include the type species, S. compunctum, and the new species S. sinensis. Taxa of uncertain status—including S. inflatum, S. atrum, Squamotubera leratii, Xylaria gigas, and Xylocrea piriformis—are discussed. Entonaema includes E. cinnabarina, E. pallida, E. liquescens, and the new species E. dengii and E. mollucana. Entonaema mesenterica and E. globosa could not be evaluated because satisfactory collections were not found. Other taxa discussed in some detail include Stromatoneurospora phoenix, Chromocreopis cubispora, Engleromyces goetzii, Wawelia regia, and Camarops spathulata. Keywords
