Abstract
The first studies of free radicals by flash photolysis used visible and ultraviolet spectrometry of gaseous species. The extension of this to the infrared using tunable diode lasers is discussed, as is the possible combination of flash photolysis with laser magnetic resonance spectroscopy.Keywords
