Abstract
Properties of plasmas produced by a 1.5 cm diam coaxial gun are investigated. Gas is provided from the center electrode material which is interchangeable. Materials such as lithium, titanium with occluded hydrogen, and carbon are used as the plasma source. Typically, a lithium plasma is produced which has equal ion and electron energies of 25 eV and 1017−1018 particles/pulse.Keywords
